about

Long awaited follow-up album to 2007's 'Re-Volting' (on Damaged Goods label), 2019 brings the release of ‘The Fall and Rise of Tintin Quarantino’s Punk Fiction (more totally useless horror stories from the psychic vaults of the Psykik Volts)’, celebrating the 40 year anniversary of the ‘Totally Useless/Horror Stories No.5’ single. It features 12 songs originally written for Psykik Volts way back when plus 2 cover versions – all recorded & produced by yours truly in the last few years. Plus, there are 2 original demos from 1979 (Nervous Men Whistle & Appliances) featuring the 4 man line-up we had for a short while.

The album’s title is a nod to The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin (whose Grot Shops inspired the Totally Useless lyric), Ziggy Stardust, Pulp Fiction & perhaps even Sergeant Pepper by also being named after a fictional band.

It’s 12 years since the last album so enjoy it as there may not be another one any time soon!
